Hormone Therapy

Human Growth Hormone (HGH) & Deficiency

Human Growth Hormone is naturally produced by the pituitary gland (so called master gland). Throughout a person’s life, levels decline as early as the early 20s. Decrease levels of this hormone lead to negative effects, such as decrease in sexual performance, weight gain, sleep disturbances, decrease in energy levels and stamina, loss of muscle, and even decrease in the skin’s youthful appearance. There are different options for treating human growth hormone deficiencies; however, it is always important to rule out any medical condition as the reason for the hormone deficiency.

Sermorelin

Sermorelin Acetate is a (peptide) protein similar to growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) that increases the production and secretion of human growth hormone. Sermorelin stimulates the pituitary gland into secreting the own body’s human growth hormone. Even more importantly, it prevents the over production of human growth hormone by inducing the pituitary to also secrete somatostatin (the inhibitor hormone of human growth hormone). Sermorelin can be self-injected with a very thin needle for less discomfort. From its many uses, sermorelin has been effectively used for its anti-aging properties, weight loss effect, erectile dysfunction treatment, and increase in muscle mass.

Ipamorelin

Ipamorelin Acetate is one of the most effective methods of treating growth hormone deficiencies. There is no increase in hunger or interaction with other hormones (e.i. cortisol, ACTH, LH, FSH, TSH, Prolatin) and unlike Sermorelin, it does not suppress the hormone somatostatin. It tends to be prescribed more often due to its slow building effects and is one of the safest hormone growth therapies available, conveniently prescribed as a subcutaneous injection.

Ibutamoren

Ibutamoren Acetate is an orally active non-peptide growth hormone secretagogue that stimulates the pituitary hormone in secreating the body’s natural form of HGH. However, the mechanism of action is slightly different, it causes the release of stored human growth hormone and therefore this leads, over time, to effectively repairing the body functions affected from hormone growth deficiencies. Unlike the other forms of human growth hormone therapies, Ibutamoren remains in the body working for a longer period time than other peptide forms.

Pellet Therapy

What is a Pellet?

Pellets are a form of bioidentical hormones that are also derived from plant sources. There are two types of pellet therapy, testosterone and estradiol. Both men and women can benefit from the use of pellet hormone therapy. A pellet is approximately the size of a small grain of rice and it is inserted into the body, commonly, by making a small incision in the upper hip area. The procedure is fairly simple, the effects last from 3 to 6 months, depending on the person’s rate of metabolizing the pellet, and it adjusts to the body natural response. The pellet is safely and slowly absorbed by the body. Benefits: • Stabilizes mood swings • Improve sex drive • Reduces body fat • Increases muscle mass • Improves focus • Increase energy level
